The fans called for Wenger to be fired and they got their wishes which will start a brand new chapter in the Gunners history books. The next manager that comes in has a huge job on their hands if they are going to catch the other teams above them. The squad is not up to the standard required and it is going to take a vast sum of money to attempt to bridge the gap. There will be lots of punter putting a wager on the transfer activity which is no surprise given that it is easy to predict than Pick 6 game betting. In this article, I will look at the players that will help to improve the team to take them to the next level.

#1 Kostas Manolas

The main area that needs strengthening over the summer is the Gunners defense and one player that could help solve that problem is Kostas Manolas. He has been fantastic for Roma and has bad of experience playing over 150 times for the Serie A club. At 24 years old he is the perfect age for a defender and the backline could be built around him. One of his main assets is that he does not give away many unforced errors and is quick along with having great strength which is vital for the position he plays

#2 Ousmane Dembélé

Arsenal needs to find young players with the ability to become world class stars. Top of their shopping list should be Dembélé as at 20 years old he has the potential to become the best player in the world. It will be extremely difficult for the Gunners to sign the player from Barcelona after they paid a staggering 96 million pound plus millions are added only last summer.

#3 Max Meyer

One of the stand out players of the Bundesliga this campaign has been 20-year-old midfielder Max Meyer. His contract with Schalke is close to expiring so there is a strong possibility they could sign him without breaking the bank. Arsenal will not be the only club in for him though and without Champions League football they will need to pay more than the others to attract him to the Emirates. With Wilshere’s contract expiring this summer along with the player been injury prone, he would be an excellent replacement.

#4 Jan Oblak

One area the fans would like to see improvement over the summer is the goalkeeping position as Cech has been very unreliable this season. Jan Oblak is one of the best in the business and has proved his value at Atlético Madrid. There are a number of teams monitoring him such as PSG and Chelsea so they will have to move fast if they are going to secure his signature. At only 25 years old he will only get better and even though he will be extremely expensive to buy, it is a great investment for the future.

#5 Caglar Soyuncu

One player identified by the head of recruitment at Arsenal, Sven Mislintat is 21-year-old defender Caglar Soyuncu. With Mertesacker hanging up his boots and Koscielny’s injury problems, they need to find a replacement in the summer or they will be in deep trouble. Let’s hope they do not leave it too long and end up missing out on another player yet again.
