Good afternoon everyone and welcome to Manchester City v Arsenal – LIVE and brought to you by Arsenal’s official car and van rental partner Europcar!

The Gunners are out to keep laying claim to that 2nd spot today, but Manchester City are embroiled in the fight for fourth with rivals Manchester United, so this is a huge game for both sides.

Danny Welbeck came off the bench to hit the winner as Wenger’s men beat Norwich 1-0 last week – could he be the difference today? Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil is two assists short of equaling Thierry Henry’s Premier League season record.

Kelechi Iheanacho’s brace went in vain last week as City were condemned to a 4-2 defeat to Southampton, but Pellegrini’s men have only been beaten once in their last 5 games.

Sergio Aguero continued his European goal drought against Real Madrid on Wednesday, and Arsenal will be hoping the lack of goals continues into the Premier League this weekend. But Arsenal are on a run of three consecutive clean sheets and won’t surrender that without a fight.

With Ozil dropping out this had to be the opportunity to put either Wilshire or Cazorla back into the starting XI.But once again the Manager who has forgotten how to coach a team is found lacking. At the moment there is absolutely no point in picking Giroud as he’s so far away from finding any form. This side has No-one playing in the middle of the park with enough creativity to open up a City side that is set up to defend deep and play on the counter. We will move the ball slowly and predictably from side to side inviting the City forwards to enjoy a very fruitful day.
